I’m the owner and founder of Top Drawer. This company was inspired by my love of creating beautiful and functional spaces, which in turn creates time and cultivates peace. Top Drawer in England (my husband is English) means “of highest quality” which is what I strive to give my clients, but also, organizing starts one drawer at a time.

I am the mother of two girls, a wife and a registered nurse. As a busy, full-time working mom, I was so frustrated with the lack of time I had. I strived for a clean home and spent my nights and weekends, when I wasn’t at a sporting event, trying to keep it clean. Despite spending so much time cleaning, I often failed and felt so overwhelmed!

In a desperate attempt to not loose all sanity, I started to remove clutter and really organized my over-stuffed closets, junk filled drawers, pantry, and catch-all laundry room. I began to truly see a change in my home; I was not constantly looking for things nor was I afraid to open a closet or drawer but best of all, my home stayed tidy. True organization allowed for more time with my family and the things I enjoyed. As much as I appreciated the aesthetics, the time and peace that it created within me and my home was the most valuable gift!

Because functional organization was so life-changing for my own space, I offered to help friends to do the same for theres. They too experienced the time and tranquility that a well organized space provides. As a nurse, it’s no surprise that helping others is my jam. I began to realize the value of my skill set in functional organization and Top Drawer was born.
